This is absolutely essential as a Select certificate is required by building standards in order that you get your completion certificate. His advice on energy performance and subsequent recommendations are employed by us. This could mean LED bulbs or lighting solutions in your new room. Any heating or plumbing work is undertaken by John, he is a highly qualified and experienced heating engineer. John is also Gas Safe registered (ID 514107) for your complete piece of mind. How much will my garage conversion cost?
Our basic singe garage conversion starts at £11,175 + VAT.

Do I have to deal with the council?
We have our own Architectural Technologist who deals with all the paperwork. This includes submitting your drawings and warrant documents and fees. We will also inform the building standards when your job commences. We will complete the CCNP (Construction Compliance and Notification Plan) so that every stage of your work is verified. This essential process removes any unnecessary inspection works at a later stage. You will be guided receive your completion certificate.

Does Telfer Joinery Ltd have insurance?
Yes. We have public liability cover as standard.

How long does a garage conversion take?
We would normally complete a single garage conversion within 5-8 days with a double garage conversion being a few days more. If there is en-suite or kitchen works within the conversion, this would be completed within 15 working days.

Yes, we offer a range of guarantees, from a basic to a fully insured guarantee up to 10 years.

Who does the work on my garage conversion?
When Telfer Joinery do your garage conversion, you get Michael Telfer on site. We don’t sell you a product, then pass the whole job off to a bunch of contractors unlike other companies.
